SINGAPORE ROCK rocked! (:
wheee. sorry tsangy for troubling your daddy! haha! was supposed to pick up the polka-dotted dress from tsang's house this morning but due to my tired and uncooperative body I did not go over and instead decided to wear something simpl for the "disco"
Left home at 3.30pm with yunzhi this afternoon to train down to Lavender. The directions on that piece of briefing sheet was so ARGHHHH!
No.1: "Take bus just outside Lavender MRT Station" WHICH ONE?! THERE WERE TWO!
No.2: "Stop two stops after Lavender MRT Station. The starting point is considered 1 bus stop" -.-"
and the best one.....
"Take a bus" WE DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE ONE AT ALL! :( waste time. The place was just behind the station, we could WALK there! omg. Thank goodness yunzhi had the guy's handphone number or we would have walked aimlessly around near bugis street. We took a bus two stops away and then two stops back again SIGH. waste time, waste money, waste energy. What an adventure before we even reached the venue! haha!
Finally reached the place at around 5.15?! 45mins late. OOPPS. haha! Changed out and after which got paired up with our ah mas/ ah gongs. I got a really nice old ah ma. WHOA. I really admire her enthusiasm and energy! we were dancing from 7plus to about 9!? Everytime I asked her whether she was tired, she would say no and just smile. HAHA! so cute! guess she loved the company. It's quite lonely to live all alone in a flat huh :( Don't worry mummy, I'll never leave you all alone! you can come live with me next time! (: haha!
Definitely going to visit her some other time, nearer to christmas maybe? Give her a surprise! (: yayyy! She's really really sweet! haha! ohyes, and she won the consolation prize for BEST DANCER! not bad eh? hahha!
tonight's event was indeed meaningful. Going to nurse my feet back to full working order before going out for CHRISTMAS SHOPPING this week! haha! it's just round the corner! peace everyone!!
